Rev. Dr. Laura Thornberry

About Dr. Laura Thornberry

Rev. Dr. Laura Thornberry was raised in a military family.  She is the daughter of a Mason & Shriner and Eastern Star.  She teaches respect for all people as individuals as she was raised.  Personal excellence without limitation was ingrained in her from an early age.

Life as a military brat nurtured Laura’s love of travel.  She has lived in the Far East, traveled in Central and South America, Europe and Africa.  Fascinated by the experience of cultural diversity, Laura easily interacts with everyone and feels like she has never met a stranger.

Rev. Dr. Laura holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Mathematics.  She is a licensed teacher in the states of Missouri and Florida, has various certifications in energetic training and holds a Doctorate in Cosmocracy from TE-TA-MA Truth Foundation, Family of URI, Inc.®

Laura has taught spiritual truth for four decades.  She has assisted many people in getting in touch with their higher selves and in learning to listen to Spirit  –  that inner voice within them.  In her teachings, she uses the techniques she chronicled in Meditation for the Western World:  De-Mystifying Meditation.  Students have had immediate positive results and quickly gained confidence in their ability to reach a meditative state on their own.

Knowing that many people in the Western World were intimidated with the thought of meditation and missing out on the great impact that meditation can have on people’s lives, Laura listened to her inner voice and created Meditation for the Western World:  De-Mystifying Meditation to share information through the book, workbook, CD and crystal format in order to reach a larger audience.
